About Elizabeth

Elizabeth was born and raised in Winston Salem, North Carolina, where she has been surrounded by family her whole life. She is the oldest among her two siblings, and recently just added a new addition to the family, Kobe Bartholomew. She is lucky to have a strong and supportive system during this season of life, and owes everything to her family.

Where It All Started

Elizabeth began dancing at age 4 at In Motion Dance Center (IMDC) in Winston Salem, NC. She has trained in all styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, etc. Elizabeth quickly realized that dance was her passion and what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. Elizabeth was fortunate enough to be part of Dance Elite, IMDC’s elite competition team. Through this competition team, Elizabeth travelled and competed at numerous competitions and conventions, and learned from renowned choreographers and teachers. IMDC gave Elizabeth a strong foundation that she needed to pursue her passion. She is eternally grateful for the teachers that have supported her journey thus far, and wouldn’t be where she is today if it wasn’t for In Motion Dance Center.

Elizabeth has also had numerous performance opportunities through OCU. She has been a part of the Star Dance Company since Fall of 2022. She has performed in the Holiday Spectacular since Fall of 2022, and Move! She will always be grateful for the knowledge she is gaining at OCU, and the connections she has formed. She can’t wait to continue her journey into senior year.

Phi Mu

Moving 1100 miles away from home, Elizabeth was looking for a place where she could be herself and grow at the same time. After going through recruitment, Elizabeth was able to call Phi Mu Epsilon Epsilon her home. Phi Mu has pushed Elizabeth to become a better leader and a more confident person. Through her time at Phi Mu, Elizabeth has had the privilege of serving as sisterhood chair and Vice President of Committees. Both of these positions focused on creating a safe environment that allowed people to be themselves while thriving as leaders. Phi Mu has also been the place where Elizabeth has met some of her closest friends and made some amazing memories. Elizabeth is eternally grateful for Phi Mu and the impact that her sisters have made on her. She knows that Phi Mu has changed her for good!
